Series Snapshot ~ 5/8/2025

Action/Drama dominated the streaming week, with The Handmaid’s Tale, Andor, The Last of Us, and Reacher topping the charts. Especially impressive for Amazon’s Reacher which launched in February, proving that the action series has strong legs (pun intended). 

However, it wasn’t all dystopian drama, Star Wars, and large guys beating people to a pulp this week; Netflix debuted Tina Fey’s Miniseries The Four Seasons (adapted from the 1981 film starring Carol Burnett) which landed at number one on Netflix, while Apple premiered the Jon Hamm led Crime-Dramedy, Your Friends and Neighbors. Both received positive reviews and are off to a great start.
