Susan Sarandon

Susan Sarandon is an American actress and activist born in New York and raised in New Jersey. Sarandon had her career start when she auditioned for the film Joe which she co-starred in in 1969. She then appeared in series such as A World Apart. She rose to prominence in her numerous film appearances in the 70’s such as The Apprentice, The Front Page, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, and The Great Waldo Pepper. She delved back to television appearing in shows such as Friends, Mad TV, and Rescue Me. In 2016, she starred in the family drama Mothers and Daughters and the animated comedy Spark.
