Sherri Shepherd is an American actress, comedian, author and television personality from Chicago. Shepherd started appearing on television in the 1990’s with shows such as Cleghorne!, Claude’s Crib, Living Single, and Suddenly Susan in which she had a regular role. She made her first film appearance in the 2000 movie, King of Open Mic’s. On television, she is known for being the co-host of the daytime talkshow The View in 2007 and for her title character in the show Sherri in 2009. Shepherd has also done vocal acting for various animated shows and films.
