Patricia Arquette is an American actress born in Chicago and raised in Los Angeles. Arquette comes from a family very involved in entertainment; her grandfather was a comedian and four of her siblings are also actors. She had her acting debut in the 1987 film A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. She acted in other films and television shows such as Daddy, Thirtysomething, The Outsiders, and Stigmata before getting her big break in the series Medium in 2005. One of her most notable films is Boyhood. Awards she has won include 1 Western Heritage Award, 1 Academy Award, 1 Golden Globe Award, and 1 Screen Actors Guild Award.
