Moore’s interest in performing was inspired at a young age by her grandmother who was a ballerina. She pleaded with her parents for acting and singing lessons, which led to her further appearance in various school productions. While working on music, she was discovered, and signed to Epic Records who worked with her to release her debut album So Real in 1999. She made her first onscreen appearances in the early 2000’s in shows and films such as in All That, Clone High, Dr.Dolittle 2, and The Princess Diaries.
