Leslie Mann is an American actress and comedian from Orange County. Mann studied acting and did comedy at the comedy group The Groundlings. Her career started at age 18 with appearances in numerous television commercials, and in 1995 she was chosen from 500 candidates to play a big role in the 1996 film The Cable Guy. She then landed parts in shows and films such Freaks & Geeks, George of the Jungle, The 40-Year-Old Virgin, and Knocked Up. Mann has made a name for herself for mainly playing parts in comedic films.
