Jennie Garth is an American actress and producer raised in both Illinois and Arizona. In her youth, Garth started modeling and dancing and was later spotted by a talent manager. She made her first television appearance in the sitcom Growing Pains in 1989. She later rose to fame with her recurring role in the series Beverly Hills, 90210 which helped her land lead roles in television films such as Without Consent, Falling for You, and An Unfinished Affair. She later found success with the series What I Like About You and Mystery Girls.
