Cody Simpson is an Australian singer, songwriter, and actor from Queensland. Simpson used to swim competitively and has won 2 gold medals in doing so. He started recording music and in 2009 he recorded his performances of songs by Jason Mraz, Justin Timberlake, and The Jackson 5 on YouTube which lead to his discovery by Shawn Campbell. In 2010 Simpson released his first single “iYiYi,” and EP titled 4 U. His next EP, Coast to Coast was released in 2011 which topped many charts.
