Cindy Crawford is a model and actress who was born on February 20, 1966 in DeKalb, Illinois. Crawford’s first stint in the world of modeling started in high school where she had a photo of hers taken for a store fashion shoot and another which appeared on the cover of the local publication DeKalb Nite Weekly. After graduating she enrolled in university before dropping out to pursue modeling. She rose to international prominence in the 1980’s and 1990’s with her appearance in multiple fashion shows, runways, and magazine covers such as in Cosmopolitan, People, Elle, and Vogue. Crawford also appeared in multiple music videos and a few films and television shows.
