Cher is a singer, actress, and fashion designer who was born on May 20, 1946 in El Centro, California. Cher’s mother was also involved in show-biz working as an actress. Cher’s singing talents were noticed when she was in fifth grade when she produced a musical performance. With a commitment to becoming famous, she dropped out of high school and moved to Los Angeles where she started learning how to act. She started doing music collaborations with various artists before releasing her debut album All I Really Want to Do in 1965. She went on to release numerous albums over the years and appeared in various films such as Suspect, Mermaids, and Burlesque.
