Carrie Underwood is an American singer, songwriter, and actress from Oklahoma. Underwood started performing at a young age; in her childhood she sang at a talent show and in various events in Checotah. Her rise to fame came when she competed and won the fourth season of American Idol in 2004. The following year she released her debut album Some Hearts. She has also appeared in various television shows. Underwood has won over 100 awards including: 8 American Music Awards, 11 CMT Music Awards, and 17 Billboard Music Awards.
