Brie started acting doing stage work in local community theater, and later on honed her skills by earning a bachelor’s degree in theater. She made her first film appearance in the 2004 film Stolen Poem. She later appeared on television for the first time in Hanna Montana in 2006. She rose to prominence with her recurring roles in the series and films Mad Men, My Alibi, Community, The Coverup, and Scream 4. She is currently starring in the critically acclaimed Netflix series GLOW, and is one of the lead voices for Netflix's BoJack Horseman. Awards she has won include 2 BTVA Awards, 1 Screen Actors Guild Award, and 1 TV Guide Award.
