Adam Driver is an American actor and model who grew up in Indiana. Although he was interested in drama from a young age, he enlisted in the Marines after high school, serving for more than two years. After he was medically discharged, he ended up studying acting at the prestigious Juilliard School, and began working soon after graduation. He was working in theater when he was cast as Lena Dunham's love interest in her HBO series, Girls. His role on Girls led to more and more work, eventually leading to his being cast as the principal villain, Kylo Ren, in J.J. Abrams' Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
