A 15 year-old comedy and music star to CAA, a Mindhunter star to UTA, an iconic TV dad to Gersh, and a major management shakeup – all this and more in today’s issue of Notes from the Rep Biz!

At CAA:

Mommy vlogger Kristina Kuzmic, who started her career with The Ambush Cook on The Oprah Winfrey Network, has signed with Frank Jung. Kuzmic recently closed a seven figure deal for her book Hold On, but Don’t Hold Still about the struggles of poverty and parenting. She’ll continue to be repped by attorney Hannah Milderink.

Fifteen year old Musical.ly and Comedy Central Star Case Walker has signed with Andrew Graham. Walker has a huge following on the Musical.ly app with more than 1.8 million fans and 356,000 followers on Instagram. He’s also set to star in the Comedy Central series The Other Two written by Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider. He continues to be managed by Authentic Management.

At UTA:

Mindhunter star Cameron Britton has signed Neil Bajaj. Britton who played the serial killer Ed Kemper on the Netflix series will next be seen in another Netflix series, the comic book adaptation The Umbrella Academy. He can currently be seen in HBO’s Barry, and will also appear on the big screen in Sony’s The Girl in the Spider’s Web. His manager is Nick Campbell at Velocity Entertainment Partners.

At Gersh:

Modern Family patriarch Ed O’Neill has signed with Alexander Yarosh and Leslie Siebert. O’Neill has been nominated for three Emmys and four Ensemble SAG Awards for his work on Modern Family, and previously was nominated for two Golden Globes for playing Al Bundy on Married With Children. He’ll next be heard on the big screen in the Wreck it Ralph sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet, and will also appear in Jennifer Morrison’s Sun Dogs, which hits Netflix today. He continues to be repped by manager Marc Gurvitz at Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Chicago PD actress Marina Squerciati has signed with Jason Gutman. Squerciati who has played the recurring role of Kim Burgess for the past five seasons has also had recurring roles in Gossip Girl and The Americans. Her manager is Myrna Jacoby at MJ Management.

Management Notes:

The big news this week is a major shake up at ROAR Management.

First up:

Founding managers Bernie Cahill and Greg Suess are leaving the company to form Activists Artists Management. Also joining Cahill and Suess are managers Matt Maher and Liz Norris, who comprise the entire music division of ROAR. They are bringing clients such as Dwight Yoakam, The Grateful Dead, Ben Rector, Bob Weir, and Nashville actress Clare Bowen, among others.

Think that’s it for ROAR news? Well you’re wrong! Manager Will Ward and 13 others are also exiting the company to form management/production company Fourward. They will be taking clients such as Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, Cobie Smulders, Aisha Tyler, Sharlto Copley, Luke Bracey, Luke Hemsworth and Alice Braga along with them.

It’s unclear at this time where exactly this leaves ROAR going forward, as these moves basically gut the company’s management business.

Other Notes:

Publicist Marianna Shafran has left Stan Rosenfield & Associates to launch her own company, Shafran PR. Among the clients following her to the new gig are: John Goodman, Kit Harrington, Michael Kenneth Williams, Dennis Haysbert, and Winston Duke.
