At WME:
 
Musician and lead guitarist for Dead and Company John Mayer has signed with Scott Clayton. Mayer had sort of already joined WME last month as Dead and Company had followed Scott Clayton, but now he’s joined as a solo act. Mayer is managed by Irivng Azoff and Steve Moir.
 
At CAA:
 
Last week it was reported that Stranger Things and It star Finn Wolfhard signed with Zach Kaplan and Jaime Feld. This comes after Wolfhard left APA following sexual assault allegations against his agent Tyler Grasham. Wolfhard will next be seen in the drama Dog Days and the supernatural thriller The Turning.
 
Triple threat -- actor, singer, and dancer -- Mike Angelo has signed with Luna Xu. Angelo rose to stardom as part of the Thai pop duo Angelo and Golf. Currently Angelo is star of the Hunan drama Delicious Destiny and will be the male lead in the Chinese series Mr. Swimmer and Fantastic Boyfriend.
 
Other Notes Around Town:
 
Rick Ferrari and Bradley Glenn have been hired by Don Buchwald and Associates. Ferrari will head the west coast commercial/branding division. Glenn comes over from the Kaplan Stahler Agency and will rep writers and directors and package television shows. 
 
Transgender actress Ivory Aquino who plays transgendered activist Cecilia Young in the ABC Miniseries When We Rise has signed with Danielle DeLawder at Abrams Artists Agency. Aquino will next be seen in HBO’s High Maintenance and the feature Lingua Franca. She has also signed with manager Jared Schwartz at Industry Entertainment.
 
Abrams has also signed Stephanie Arcila who was in the Telemundo telenovella Jenni Rivera: Mariposa de Barrio. Arcila will next be seen in Alan Ball’s drama Here and Now on HBO along with Tim Robbins and Holly Hunter. She will be agented by Fatmata Kamara.
 
Management Notes:
 
Animal Kingdom star Scott Speedman has signed with Sandra Chang and Tony Lipp at Anonymous Content. He continues to be agented by Brian Swardstrom at UTA.
 
Screenwriter Jeremy Michael Cohen has signed with Noah Rosen at Writ Large. Cohen’s screenplay George – a biopic of Margret and H.A. Rey who created Curious George landed on the 2017 Blacklist. Cohen continues to be repped by agent David Boxerbaum at Verve.
 
Cathy King formerly an agent at Independent Talent Group in the U.K. has joined 42 as a literary manager. It is believed that King will continue to work with all her clients including Julian Fellowes, Abi Morgan, and Sam Bain among others.
