Notes From the Rep Biz ~ 12/5/2025

It’s that time of year again, reps throughout the industry are on the job carousel! New agents join WME, CAA while agents move to managers at Untitled and Brillstein! A Pro wrestler joins CAA and FKA Twigs goes to UTA. Plus: Heat 2 casting news! All this and more in today’s Notes From the Rep Biz…

 

 

At WME:

CAA Agents Matt Martin, Trevor Astbury, Adam Schweitzer and UTA agent Dean Fluker are all moving over to WME. It is unclear who will be following them to their new digs at this time.

 

Screenwriter and comic writer Rick Remender is a new sign for the agency. Remender has had a prolific career in comics writing for Marvel on series such as Uncanny X-Force, Uncanny Avengers and Venom. He also created the series Deadly Class which was adapted into a SyFy original series in 2019 (for which Remender was a showrunner).

 

Writer and director Charlie Schwan is also now agented by WME. Schwan wrote and directed the horror short Harvester which won the jury award for “Best Texas Short” at this year’s SXSW film festival. Harvester is being developed into a feature film produced by Scott Derrickson and C. Robert Cargill.

 

Reality TV star and model Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu is also now repped by WME. Cülcüloğlu is best known as the winner of Love Island’s 8th series and she went on to appear in the second season of The Traitors US.

 

 

At CAA:

Pro wrestler Bianca Belair is now agented by CAA. Belair made her debut on WWE’s NXT brand in 2016 and she became a fan favorite. In 2023 she was the longest running RAW Women’s champion with a 422 day reign.

 

YouTuber Airrack is also a new sign for the Death Star. Airrack (AKA Eric Decker) has over 17.5 million followers on his YouTube channel which is primarily challenge and prank content. He has also done collaborations with MrBeastLogan Paul, and Kai Cenat.

 

Speaking of the digital creator space, digital manager Greg Goodfried has joined CAA as an agent in the creators division.

 

 

At UTA:

Singer, songwriter, and music producer FKA Twigs is now repped by UTA. FKA Twigs blasted onto the scene in 2012 by self releasing her debut album EP 1 on bandcamp. And despite some hiatuses here and there, she hasn’t stopped. Her most recent album Eusexua Afterglow was released last month with hit singles “Cheap Hotel,” and “Predictable Girl.”  

 

Author, illustrator, content creator, and former podcaster Florence Given is also a new sign for UTA. Given was the host of the Gen Z lifestyle podcast Exactly. Given is also the author of three books: Women Don’t Owe You Pretty, Girl Crush, and Women Living Deliciously.

 

Tom Selleck is now agented by UTA. Selleck is best known for playing Thomas Magnum on the long running series Magnum P.I. He also played police commissioner Frank Regan on CBS’s Blue Bloods which ran from 2010-2024.

 

OTHER NOTES AROUND TOWN

Lizze Broadway who can currently be seen playing Emma Myer on Amazon’s Gen V is now managed by Anonymous Content. Broadway was also in the Netflix movie Kinda Pregnant starring Amy Schumer.

 

Actor Aaron Moten has signed with Range Media Partners for management. Moten is best known for his role of Maximus in Amazon’s Fallout videogame adaptation and will next be seen in that series’ second season.

 

Manager Kyle Jaeger has joined Untitled Entertainment. Jaeger comes from 2AM after that company’s closing. Additionally CAA agent Olivia Blaustein is moving to Untitled as a manager.

 

Also making the switch from agenting to management is Paradigm agent Jennifer Millar is moving over to Brillstein Entertainment Partners along with her client Sydney Sweeney.

 

 

MUSIC NOTES

DJ and music producer Calvin Harris is heading to Wasserman. The Scottish DJ’s hits include “One Kiss,” “Summer,” “Feels,” and “This is What You Came For.”

 

Singer/songwriter Carly Rae Jepsen has also signed with Wasserman. Jepsen is best known for the viral hit “Call Me Maybe.”

 

 

SPORTS NOTES

Denver Nuggets guard Peyton Watson is now agented by Klutch Sports Group.

 

LA Sparks forward Cameron Brink is now repped by WME.

 

Boxer and Olympic gold medalist Sugar Ray Leonard is a new sign for Paradigm.

 

 

CASTING NOTES

Femme fatale, Eva Green is set to join the cast of Wednesday for season 3. Green will play Aunt Ophelia who was played by Carolyn Jones in a blonde wig in the 1960’s Adams Family series (Jones also played Morticia), in the 90’s Adams Family movies she was played by Allegra Kent in the first film and Laura Esterman in the second. It’s unclear when Wednesday season 3 will premiere, but speculation says 2027. 

 

According to Deadline, Christian Bale is eyeing a role in Michael Mann’s Heat sequel, um, Heat 2. It is not clear who Bale would be playing in the much anticipated sequel, but Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star. 

 

Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emery are now series regulars for season 2 of Netlfix’s The Hunting Wives. Rodriguez plays Deputy Salazar and Emery portrays Deputy Flynn. Season 1 stars Brittany Snow and Malin Åkerman are also returning.
