Harry Styles is a singer and songwriter from Holmes Chapel, England. Styles is part of a boy band called One Direction. His career started when he was young with performances he made at weddings and various talent shows and with a band he was in called White Eskimo. His rise to fame came after he auditioned in 2010’s The X Factor when he failed to progress as a solo singer, but was put together with 4 other singers who also didn’t make it, to form a 5-piece band which qualified them to compete as a group. The group, One Direction, didn’t win but got signed after show and in 2011 rose to international stardom with their debut album Up All Night.
