Agency Notes

• At UTA:
  • 13-time Oscar nominated cinematographer Roger Deakins has signed with Pete Franciosa. UTA has also signed Deakins' wife and frequent collaborator, James Ellis Deakins.
  • Other new signs for the agency include former prosecutor and author Marcia Clark, and Italian filmmaker Giuseppe Capotondi.
• At WME:
  • Actor/dancer/singer Julianne Hough has signed with a team that will be headed up by Richard Weitz.
  • Oscar-nominated Pixar animator Sanjay Patel has signed with Tanya Cohen and Jeff Gorin. 
• At CAA:
  • Filmmaker Stella Meghie, whose feature debut, Jean of the Joneses, premiered at SXSW earlier this year, has signed with a team that includes Rowena Arguelles and Maha Dakhil.
• At ICM Partners:
  • Actor Alex Pettyfer (Magic Mike) is now represented by Joanne Wiles and Matt Smith.
• At Abrams Artists:
  • Costa Ronin, a standout on The Americans, is now represented by Kim Hines.
