Warriors Gaming Squad x NETGEAR

The NBA 2K League team of the Golden State Warriors, Warriors Gaming Squad, has partnered with NETGEAR's Nighthawk Pro Gaming as their first official sponsor.  Nighthawk Pro Gaming's branding will be displayed throughout the team's digital content and on the team's in-game home court.  

Nighthawk also sponsors teams Seoul Dynasty and the San Francisco Shock of the Overwatch League.

Overwatch League x Toronto

Activision Blizzard is currently trying to finalize a deal for a Toronto franchise for their upcoming season of the Overwatch League (OWL) with a group that includes Pittsburgh Penguins minority shareholder Michael Kimel and the esports organization, Splyce.  Some notable Splyce investors include former NBA Champion Metta World Peace, former NFL Super Bowl Champ Roman Harper and sports agent David Meltzer.  

The deal, which is expected to be done within days, comes with a $35 Million price tag, and will be the second and final North American expansion team this year after OWL added a franchise in Atlanta.

Razer x Tribe Gaming

Razer, a high-end PC peripherals company with a focus on gamers, has just partnered with mobile-centric esports organization Tribe Gaming.  This is Razer's first official partnership with a North American mobile-centric team.  

The deal will see Tribe Gaming players use Razer's new high-end gaming smartphone, which Razer acquired with their $15 milion purchase of mobile startup NextBit, and Razer headsets during tournaments.  Razer is one of the only brands to directly sponsor individual esports athletes, as well as teams and tournaments.

Esports x Ohio

Planet Oasis Ohio is building a $2 Billion sports and entertainment complex on 350 acres in Delaware County, Ohio.  The complex will include hotels, restaurants, shops and will feature a $10 Million, 30,000 square foot esports arena.  No word yet on when construction of the complex will begin, but the esports arena will include a competition stage, video wall, PC and console gaming stations, and a TV broadcast production studio.

Paris Saint-Germain Esports x Monster Energy

Paris Saint-Germain Esports has signed a one-year deal with Monster Energy.  The French soccer club partnered with Chinese Dota 2 team LGD back in April, and will now have the Monster Energy logo featured prominently on the PSG.LGD team jerseys for the upcoming Dota 2 International tournament.  Monster Energy is the first partnership for the PSG.LGD Gaming Dota 2 esports team in Asia.

The International is the highest tournament payout, and this year is no different with a partly crowdfunded cash prize of over $23 Million.
