Michael J. Fox is a Canadian actor, producer, and author raised in suburban Vancouver. J Fox landed his first starring role in the television series Leo and Me at age 15. He later decided to go to L.A. to further his acting career. In the USA his first acting work was a television film titled Letters from Frank. In the 1980’s he landed parts in films such as Midnight Madness and Class of 1984 before breaking through with his starring role in the series Family Ties. It was after landing a starring role in the hit film Back to the Future that he had his international breakthrough. Awards he has won include 1 Double Helix Medal, 1 Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, and 1 Grammy Award.
