Louis CK is an American comedian, writer, actor, director, and producer raised in both Mexico City and suburban Boston. CK was inspired to go into television from a young age. After graduating from high school he moved towards interest by working as a mechanic at a TV cable station which gave him the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of television production. He had his stand-up debut in 1985 and in a couple of years he performed his act on multiple television shows. He has written and produced multiple television shows and released multiple comedy and DVD’s and CDs. Awards he has won include 1 Satellite Award, 1 Peabody Award, and 3 Emmy Awards.
