Agency Notes

• At WME:
  • Mark Strong has left CAA and signed with WME's George Freeman. A regular in Matthew Vaughn films, Strong has been one of the busiest character actors working over the past five years, with credits that include The Imitation Game, Zero Dark Thirty and Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
  • French actress Lea Seydoux, who will be seen in the upcoming installment of the Bond franchise, has signed with Stephanie Ritz. She was also previously at CAA.
  • Filmmaker Trey Edward Shults, whose film Krisha just won SXSW, is now with Craig Kestel. 
  • Australian comediennes Kate McLennan and Kate McCartney have signed with Melissa Myers.
  • TV writer/producer (Arrested Development, Togetherness) Caroline Williams is now represented by Zach Druker.
  • Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition co-hosts Chris and Heidi Powell have signed with Jim Ornstein.
• At UTA:
  • Actress Jennifer Ehle (Fifty Shades of Grey, BBC's Pride and Prejudice) is now represented by Sarah Clossey.
• At ICM Partners:
  • Comedy legend Elaine May has signed with John Burnham.
• At Gersh:
  • Actress Parker Posey has signed with a team that includes David DeCamillo and Stephen Hirsh.
• At Innovative Artists:
  • Agent Babette Perry has joined Innovative, coming over from IMG (which is now part of WME). She represents a strong list of hosting and on-air personality talent, including Dancing With the Stars' Tom Bergeron and Cheryl Burke, although it's not clear yet who will make the transition with her. 
  • Actress Sarah Lancaster (Chuck) is now represented by David Lederman.

Management Notes

• Manager Samantha Saifer, who specializes in female comic talent, has joined Avalon Management. She was previously working through her own eponymous company. Saifer recently signed SNL's Sasheer Zamata; however, the bigger news for her (unfortunately) is that she is no longer representing Abbi Jacobson and Ilana Glazer, with whom she helped develop Broad City.
• In addition to signing with Gersh, Parker Posey also has new managers. She is now represented by Meg Mortimer and Jane Berliner at Authentic. 

PR Notes

• 42 West has signed rising actresses Claire Holt and Daisy Ridley, as well as musician Nicole Scherzinger.
• ID PR has signed Game of Thrones actor Gethin Anthony.
• Platform PR has signed Oscar winning actor Jon Voight, as well as actors Dylan and Ellery Sprayberry, Miles Brown and Rio Mangini.
