Stevie Wonder is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and record producer who was born on May 13, 1950 in Saginaw, Michigan. Wonder started exploring musical instruments such as the piano, drums, and harmonica at a young age. He started working professionally at age 11 and released his first of over 25 albums in 1962 titled The Jazz Soul of Little Stevie. After many record releases, his fame rose in the 1980’s. He also collaborated with numerous artists and appeared many times on television. Wonder is recognized as one the most prominent musicians of the 20th century. Awards he has won include 1 Academy Award, 1 Golden Globe Award, 2 Grammy Awards, and 3 ASCAP Awards.
