Russell Brand is an English comedian, actor, author, and radio host from Essex. He made his first television appearances in 1994 in the shows The Bill and Mud. He started performing stand-up comedy which helped him rise to fame and land a hosting role in Big Brothers Big Mouth in 2004. Over the years he appeared in various television shows and films such as The Peep Show, Blessed, St Trinian’s, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. He also hosted numerous events such as Select and 1 Leicester Square. He published his first book My Booky Wook in 2007.
