Rachael Ray is a celebrity cook, television personality, and author from Lake George, New York. Ray’s passion lies mainly in food; her interest in it likely came from her mother who was a manager of multiple restaurants in New York. Ray started her career off working at various places such as a candy store and gourmet market before publishing her first book 30 Minute Meals in 1999 and rising to fame with her numerous television appearances. With a growing interest to what she had to offer, she hosted her own show in 2006 titled Rachael Ray. She has also won 3 Daytime Emmy Awards.
