January 31, 1970Minnie Driver is an English actress and musician born and raised in London. Driver studied at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. She started acting professionally in 1991 doing stage productions while working as a jazz musician to help make ends meet. Over the years she appeared in shows such as Casualty and The House of Eliott before gaining recognition for her lead role in the 1995 film Circle of Friends. She broke through with her Oscar nominated performance in the film Good Will Hunting, and has had starring roles in the The Riches, About a Boy and many other films and series. She released her first album Everything I’ve Got in My Pocket in 2004.
